Awesome food and service.
They have the best fried flounder and shrimp, they really know what they are doing with fried seafood. The potato wedges are excellent--and the coleslaw.

Even though they were packed in the take out line they got our order out fairly fast for the number of takeouts they had and the phone constantly rang but usually answered on 4 th ring.
Our waitress was excellent. She provided a very calm and relaxing birthday dinner for my son. She didn’t rush any of us. She even brought his leftover fried okra to the cash register when he forgot to get it off the table. The cashier stayed longer instead of leaving for her break to help me with the restaurants.com app and applying the e-gift card to my bill. The manage also helped to apply another regular gift card that was given to my son to our bill as well. They were very helpful and patient. I’d love to go back as soon as I can afford it.
My nephew's steak was mainly fat. My sisters fish had no flavor. My food was over cooked. Other than that it was fine.
The wait staff was superb. The food was hot when it arrived, not just "warm" the restaurant is large so the tables are not crowded together, however, the booth we were seated in was a bit cramped when you have 3 6ft 3' tall men, booth table was small and barely fit our plates, had to sit condiments and 2 of our drinks in the window. They have the room and should really move the tables away from the booth seats or just purchase new booths. They are a very busy restaurant, so the budget for this should not be an issue.
The steaks were over cooked but was replaced with correct doneness. The broccoli was mushy.

shrimp for shrimp cocktail was great, cocktail sauce not so much. Broiled seafood platter was overcooked and dry. Sea scallops were ok.
We prefer our fish to be fried somewhat harder and it was not fried enough.
2 of us ordered fried clams, and they were very hard to chew. They were not what we expected to eat.
Broiled fish and smaller portions are welcome offerings. The complimentary hush puppies are delish too.

The food was good and the service was friendly. Our waitress was mostly on top of things, although she did get busy at one point and forget to come back and fill my water. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Our waiter was TOP NOTCH. Food tasted great, although not my FAVORITE fish camp in my area. The interior decor and atmosphere were very pleasant. I will be back.

The service was excellent, food was good but the onion rings and our large shrimp could have been cooked a little longer (breading on shrimp was a little under cooked same with onion rings).

THE HOSTESS WAS SEATING US AT A TABLE FOR 4 PPL; WE ARE HEAVYSET PPL; NO ROOM SPACE WOULD BE AVAILABLE; INSTEAD OF YES MA'AM OR OK I GOT EYE ROLLING AND A HUFF; I KEPT GET OVERTALKED BY THE SERVER, I WANTED A TO-GO BUT THE SERVER NEVER PUT IT IN; I HAD TO FLAG ANOTHER SERVER FOR SERVICE AS WELL; THIS PLACE HAS WENT DOWNHILL;NEVER AGAIN;
Ribeye was awful and dry. Tip: do not press the steak. Cook 2-3 minutes per site on a searing surface. Will be cooked through and juicy when cut. A little sprinkle of meat tenderizer moments before cooking will make it perfect. Crab legs were amazing.
Even the small portion was large. I would suggest cutting the size and price on the small portion plate.
The server was attentive and polite. The food was super good! Hope to get back there even though it is a distance from our home.

Nice place to eat. Reminds me of a seafood place in Rhode Island. Great prices and great meal. Most of all their waitresses are great and courteous. I love going somewhere and always asked if they can get me anything. I love it more when I don’t need to ask for drinks. This is great place to eat.

Good service and clean. Had their grilled salmon a few weeks ago and just had to have it again. We order three large meals and bring home two+ so have plenty to eat for a few days. Bargain!

I have never been to Blue Bay Seafood before, and the experience was Phenomenal. I don't think that I'll go to another seafood restaurant again. The Red Snapper, and The Rib-Eye Steaks were cooked to perfection.
Service, as always, excellent, food exemplary. I was a bit peeved, that the restaurant charged me 15% tip fee, AFTER I'd already left 20% on the table. Lesson learned.

The only thing that we ordered that we actually enjoyed was the Salmon Stew. My daughters crab legs were bland and the taste of the Shrimp and Flounder was not good. The Service was pretty good.
this was a weekend away to the mountains for my husbands 60th birthday and we planned to stop here for supper coming from Columbia,sc to Hendersonville,nc. we stop here when we can depending on the time we leave and the food has always been very good along with the service.

Our food was ready when we got there to pick it up, but we had to wait over 20 minutes to get it even after asking them if every order that came out of the kitchen was our order ( ours was on the counter the whole time) so our food was cod when we got home (takeout order)

My total was $29.96 before tax & they made a big commotion about it not being $30. Then When i showed them on the app it does not say before tax they didnt even apologize. I won't be back.

I ordered Oyster Stew. Tasted like they combined 5 oysters,1/2 pint of milk & a pint of water,popped it in the microwave then served it.No potatoes no nothing. Rest of the meal was good.

I usually go to the Blue Bay in Greenville but decided to go to the one in Spartanburg because they were on Restaurant.com. I must say that by FAR the one in Greenville is much better. I do not think I will go to the one in Spartanburg again. The food was not as good, the service was not as good and the over all atmosphere in Spartanburg is not as good.

Our server, Katelyn was wonderful. She served our meals in a timely matter and made sure we were happy. The steak was wonderfully cooked and delicious. And at the end of our meal is offered to bring take home containers and even offered to bring up "to go" drinks.

Great food. We had 4 adults and two children and we were all very happy with our entrees. The children's portions were very large. In fact, ours could have shared and there would have been plenty. The service was great! The orders came out hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely eat there again when we are in the area.

We had the meal with the perch and my wifes had bones in hers. The fish was strong tasteing. Compared to Harbor Inn in Greenville, we will be going there from now on.

Not great quality seafood. Shrimp dry, overcooked. Stuffed Crab, Clam mostly filler. All tastes the same. Might be okay for the inland South but New Englanders expect better.

I cannot say ENOUGH how very pleased we were with this place!!!! The server was great, and the crablegs were the BEST I've ever had anywhere!!!! They were cooked perfectly so were easy to open and get the meat out. They also had the best taste! We loved how they served the hushpuppies as a free appetizer while you wait to be served. Service was very QUICK, tho'! We were driving thru the area, so looked up on restaurant.com prior to traveling, and found this place! Food was fair but over priced for what it was. Not much different from fast food seafood. Steaks were cooked to proper doneness but we're cheap cuts full of grisle.
