Love to eat at Blue Rooster especially we haven't been able to go to restaurants for a few months.

Eggs were like hockey pucks and I think Old Bay is takng over the world....too much of it.
Food was great - the greeter/host that took your order had ZERO personality, acted annoyed I was using the Restaurant.com coupon, and didn't smile. She seemed miserable and it was evident she didn't want to be there. Place was cute though, simple menu but flavorful.
Small, intimate space for breakfast, coffee, lunch, or tea. Not good for parties of five or more.
chicken and waffles for horrible..... i’m not a picky eater by any means. This was just nasty. Even when I don’t like something usually I can finish it. But spit right in the napkin. I also ordered a coffee and they didn’t even take the time to ask me if I wanted it warm or cold. assumed I wanted cold.. which I did not
WE enjoy eating breakfast at the Blue Rooster. The service is good and the French Toast excellent.
Friendly customer service and great tasting food. Good size food portions. Nice and casual ambiance. Some of the best coffee I ever had!
They make an excellent Cubano sandwich and their BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avacado, & Tomato) sandwich>

I took my dad for lunch at the Blue Rooster. Dad had the turkey club sandwich with fries. He loved that the fries had Old Bay Seasoning. I had a chicken quesadilla which was really good. Staff was lovely. This was close to my parent's home but the restaurant certificate is what got us to try this new gem. We will go back!
Simple pizza and antipasto with old HS friends, priceless!

Some very interesting and tasty dishes like the brussel sprouts and the stuffed custard French toast. The egg sandwich left a little to be desired - felt like one small egg and a very thin slice of scrapple. Tastes mostly like toast. Overall good experience though.
Delicious huevos rancheros, and homemade soup of sauerkraut, ham and beans. Excellent and friendly service.

Food was great, customer service was great. Only issue was had was the table was right next to the door and we were pretty cold.
Expensive, 4 of us the bill was $60 for breakfast. No one said they would order what they ate again.

A nice, casual breakfast place, cheerful service, reasonable prices, ample parking, good breakfast options.
Glad to have the option in the area. Friendly staff. We got various breakfast and lunch items the 2 times we visited in the last month and food was descent. Got pancakes both visits and 1st time were good, 2nd time they were more dense and not great consistency. It was late in the day so perhaps pancakes aren't a good late lunch choice.

I had a great sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on rye toast w/lettuce, tomato & olive oil. Their locally roasted Dark Roast coffee is the best.

Had a little mix up with the order, and they made it right. I was not happy that they serve frozen hash brown patties with their breakfasts - I could have those at home.

I had the special entree Bruchetta Chicken Pasta. It was just what I wanted. Not too heavy & loaded with garlic.
We love Blue Rooster. Food is very good and staff is very friendly and attentive. We usually go about every 2-3 months. We had an issue with one dish (first time that's ever happened) and they took care of it right away.
Very quaint and cozy cafe. Friendly wait staff. Very good food. A bit drafty at our particular table due to the air conditioning blowing down on us. Religious music playing - unexpected and not preferred.
We tried the Chicken & Waffles, the French Toast and I had the Chicken Middle soup with my Reubens. Everything was delicious..

Relaxed, charming atmosphere
our server went above and beyond his duties when taken care of us. he explained to us that normally at lunchtime orders are taken at the counter, but because it was not at all busy, he took our orders at the table and brought it to us. plus he was very caring, you could tell that he enjoys his job.
They have a new dinner menu with a several interesting entrees and small plates.

My experience at Blue Rooster Café was very pleasant. Very different than most restaurants in a good way. The atmosphere was very relaxing with music in the background, but not too loud, just right. The food was delicious and the server was very pleasant. I'll go back again.
Our server and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to ensure that my father could enjoy his food by grinding the solids to a safe consistency. They were so very kind and respectful addressing his needs!
First, the Cafe is small by nicely decorated. Their French Toast is the best I have ever tasted and the coffee is excellent.

Everything I have eaten there has been excellent. I am the best French onion soup my husband and I have ever had. Our server, Sam, is a sweetheart and we enjoy seeing her each time we go.

Lunch at Blue Rooster was delicious! The tomato/coconut soup and french onion had seasonings that enhanced the base flavors. The Reubens were outstanding, and we topped off our lunch by sharing some chocolate chip/rye bread pudding and coffee. Perfect for a cool, rainy spring day!

Some of the food was very good. Croissant breakfast sandwich, mussels, creme Brulee. Reuben was pretty mediocre. Not much meat. Omlett was good. Home fries good and generous. Prices average. Small restaurant but very accomodating for 7 but would recommend calling ahead if big party.

Everything was superb. Starting from the moment we walked into the restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing. Will definitely go back for another visit.
