Food is authentic Mexican and servings are generous. You are served salsa and chips as a preview to the meal. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We called ahead of time for a reservation and were told they would be ready for us. Sure enough, no trouble at all when we got there, our table was set and right away a friendly waitress was taking our orders. She checked on our table frequently to make sure we had all we needed and was happy to hear we had a coupon that brought us in. Great food, Great down to earth happy people all the time, cant complain.

Prime Rib was cooked just as we each requested. Green beans with plenty of almonds and seasoned well. Baked potatoes came with the condiments that were requested. The house wine was served chilled as we asked. Service was prompt and knew the menu well.
Always enjoy the food and the WONDERFUL wait-staff! They are the nicest and friendliest people on earth! Did not see the Manager, today, whom we always enjoy seeig and talking with! He, as always, needs to be commended, for the people he hires!!!

We placed and order to go for 5 people including 1 meal that HAD to be gluten-free. Joe the manager took the order a was great! When I went to pick up the food he doubled checked the orders to make sure everything was correct and the gluten free meal was prepared correctly. Later that night he also called me to see how everyone enjoyed the meal. Excellent customer service and great food!!

3:30 Sunday afternoon. Waited longer than normal for service. Food took a very long time to come out after we ordered. 25 min. Could not get drink refilled. Didn't bring dressing with the salad. By the time they brought the dressing I had already eaten 1/2 of my husbands food and we were about ready to go. Our waitress was running around trying to do everything while 2 others stood up at register talking.
It was Greek night, but owner lacked a little Greek hospitality. Staff was great and we enjoyed Pipers personality and efforts!

We waited about 50 mins to get our food after ordering and everyone around us (the place wasn't packed) waited as long as we did. Then the food was wrong for my husbands order. Expensive for 2 people to eat Mexican food that's not fancy.

I visit this restaurant often as it is not far from my house. It is usually very good, but there are a few things I want to mention that I noticed in the last couple of visits that could be improved upon. Whish they offered regular mashed potatoes, not really a big fan of the garlic mashed. Sweet potatoes fries with honey and cinnamon are drowned in it. The coating should be just a light amount. This last time my daughter had the fried chicken, which is usually good, but she said it was a little dry. Also, you used to have delicious cinnamon sugar biscuits but on our last visit, we were told you no longer have them. On the good side, the onion rings are excellent and the coconut cream pie is some of the best I have ever had. We often take an entire pie home. Service by servers is usually very good as well.
Katella Grill is a great family restaurant. I have been there often as it is right around the corner from my house. I do want to mention that lately there are a few things I found that I felt could be improved upon. First of all, they use to have these yummy cinnamon sugar rolls and this time when we asked they said they no longer have them. Also, if you get the sweet potato fries with honey and cinnamon, they put too much honey and cinnamon. It should just be a light coating. For this visit, my daughter had the fried chicken, which is usually pretty good, but she said it was a little on the dry side. Also, I wish they would switch to just regular mashed potatoes with their meals. I am not really a fan of the garlic mashed potatoes they serve. On a high note, they have very good onion rings and the best coconut cream pie that I think I have ever had. And the servers are usually very attentive.

The 4 cheese omelot was way to spicy not tohave tha fact mentioned n the menu. One turkey salad was delivered without any turkey, obviously a wrong plate was delivered and the wait...we arrived at 1:-- pm and was served at 1:45 pm!! However, our server was a delight, pleasant and was doing her best to make us happy. The non-turkey salad was removed from our bill. We will be back because of the quality of the other items served and the server's attitude and service.

The onion rings were dark brown from old fat and overfrying. Onion rings should be golden. The fries were only fair as was the sandwich. I don't plan to return.

We all loved our dinners and those who had the turkey loved that it was freshly roasted and piled high.....also loved the cheese bread with the apple/chicken salad. A year ago I celebrated a milestone birthday in the large room and everyone raved about the food so we came back several times since then with friends/family.
