Authentic Italian cuisine. Both dishes ordered very good. The dessert also good but pricey. We’ll be going back. Want to try the pizza.
My favorite Italian restaurant. The service is excellent and the food very authentic and well prepared. Danny gives me a personal greeting and even a hug each time I come (3-4 years) as if I am a good friend.
At times it was hard to hear especially the waitress. They need some sound deadening wall of ceiling panels.
Pizza was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and cozy.

The cuisine is very authentic Italian. The atmosphere is very relaxing. 1/2 off bottles of wine Thursday made it even more enjoyable.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The restaurant had a soft inviting feeling and the food is always great. I enjoy eating here of doing take out from here.

I ordered to go so didn't get the full experience, but everyone was very friendly the short amount time we were in the restaurant. One of the employees even helped carry the food out to my car since my hands were full. The pizza is the best I've ever had so far. We will be dining again.

Farina's seemed to be very short staffed last evening. Our waitress did a great job concerning all she had to do. Was surprised that they had so few staff members working.
we always love going to Dante but have not been in a while due to unruely toddler who cannot sit still. However they were great in allowing us to do take out witht eh certificate which greatly help.

Food was great but place was overcrowded (tight quarters). There was no room to stand where we could be out of the way while we were waiting.
Our mistake was ordering takeout instead of dining in. The food is normally much better but that was primarily b/c it was not service plated and hot. Won't make mistake again. Enjoyed anyway!!

Service was unusually slow. It took about 40 minutes for our food to come out. With that kind of wait the management would have been smart to at least offer us a complementary glass of wine, but that didn't happen.

I was so glad I went! I never would have tried this restaurant if I didn't have the coupon, so I was really happy that I did. The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice, and I even liked the music! Also, the garlic olive oil they served with the bread? Incredible!

We always so enjoy Dante's and its staff. The food is excellent and the wait staff really know their business and are very attentive. The food is the best Italian in the area and makes us feel like we are in upState NY....with its fine Italian community and many restaurants. The owners are always there to make sure everything is running smoothly and are very friendly..It was a nice birthday dinner for a lady friend and we felt very comfortable and safe with the well lit parking lot and staff. The outside tables are a nice area to just enjoy a drink and the evening.

Ate at the bar. Danny, the owner & bartender, is so friendly & makes the experience 'like family'. Tiramasu was the best ever. Same for the Portabello appetizer. Caesar salad & Chix Parm were excellent.

Everything was really good - the food tasted great & service was excellent. The only thing that could have madeIit better was if the food had come a little quicker. Seemed like the restaurant wasn't crowded enough to warrant such a wait...especially since we got there just a few minutes after they opened.

I found Dante's through a coupon deal. Have been several 3 or 4 times now. Always great service and in my amateur opinion has the richness, but subtlety you would expect from authentic Italian food. It is a fairly small restaurant, so call ahead. We called last minute on a weekend night and got the only available table - right by the door on a very cold night.
The food is consistently good! Tried the cold antipasto for the first time. It was fabulous!

They were busy and we ate at the bar and what a fun group of people! The owner looks like Richard Gere so it added a great flavor to the entire night! The bartender was fun and very personable...will go back again soon!

Waited over 35 minutes for our starters (only 1 was brought and when asked about the other - it was a salad, they brought it 5 minutes afterwards saying they usually don't bring out the salad with the starter - but that was my starter?). Salad tasted like dirt - the wings were great. When we were almost finished with the starters the waitress advised me they did not have the feature I had ordered (this was over 45 minutes after we had placed the order). I just ended up sharing my daughters meal - since she filled up on the great wings she had ordered. Very good bread. Fettuccini Alfredo tasted just like pasta and butter. Skimpy on the wine pour.

Poor quality food. Not very warm.
We were so happy when my husband and I arrived this past Sunday night and there was an acoustic guitar playing. It created great ambiance. The service was excellent and it was a very generous portion of food. The only negative was that a couple of our fried raviolis were a little overcooked, but nothing too bad. I would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

We were celebrating a birthday, and the person who took our reservation wrote a big happy birthday message on a chalkboard outside! Our server, Jesse, was amazing. A man who we assume was the owner was amazing. The food was FANTASTIC!

Have had dinner here many times and the food and service are always very good. Same this time except for the eggplant rollatini I ordered. Overwhelmed by too much cheese, but not much eggplant. I don't recommend this particular dish. The mussel appetizer is a knockout though!

For Raleigh Italian food it doesn't get any better, this is as authentic as it gets and would hold it's own in NY's Little Italy:-)I was very impressed with the quality of ingredients and taste of the food. Every item we got was great, from the bread on the table with olive oil dipping to the appetizer to my Pollo Scarpariello which I highly recommend. I even had the opportunity try a slice of pizza which a friend in our group ordered. To be honest I'm a pizza snob, so I have really high expectations. However, I was really surprised, the sauce was fantastic and the sausage and pepperoni were the real deal.
I cannot account for the favorable reviews but Raleigh is a cultural and dining backwater and I guess the people will accept anything with a red sauce as authentic and a tablecloth as class. But in my opinion, the Italian food here is one step up from what you can get in a can.OK:The negatives:1) The food is tasteless. The aroma of the food when it is brought tableside should pique your appetite, as it is most often redolent with spices and herbs. This food was uniformly bland: The Caesar salad was nothing more than chopped dry Romaine with bits of cheese and too much pepper, the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Scarpariello, and Veal Picatta absolutely tasteless, and the Tiramisu a disaster as it was devoid of any coffee flavor and heaped with a surfeit of chocolate syrup.2) The menu is limited. The pasta sauces never even venture outside of the pedestrian entrées of spaghetti with a limited amount of sauces, ravioli, and lasagna, and a few veal and chicken dishes some of which were reviewed above. Compare their pasta list with Café Luna downtown and you will see the difference.3) There are few good tables at which to dine. One half of the restaurant has the tables lined in a corridor that leads to the door which means that everyone entering and leaving has to pass you by, and some of the tables on the other(bar) side are close to the door to the kitchen.The positives:The summary:If you have no taste, you will probably enjoy it.
Took a chance with no reservation on a Saturday night; was lucky to get a table as they were very busy. It seems to be a favorite with locals which is a good sign! Service and food were both outstanding. We do not live nearby, but we will definitely return.

Fresh grated Parmesan would be so much more attractive than the shakers on the table. Sometimes pasta is not drained enough and dishes are watery. We love the owner...he is truly meant to be in this business.

Not only was the atmosphere romantic, but the food excellent, and service extra ordinarily good, but they texted to let us know my husband had left his wallet behind. We live only minutes away and will be dining there much more often.. So, like our North country Italian family restaurants and price preformance very good.
The food was decent, the atmosphere was nice, the waiter forgot to tell us about the specials, and we only overheard him telling nearby guests at another table after we were already eating. Food took longer than expected to arrive at table, as did the check when ready to leave. We would try it again, though. Everyone has an off night now and again.
