Great service and atmosphere. Food preparation and choices are high quality with a good variety.
We haven't been there in several years and restaurant is no longer set for regular dining. Hostess said they mainly cater to hotel guests who are staying there attending large functions we were extremely disappointed and it was our 50th anniversary
live music added a wonderful touch to the evening.
We were aware that they could run out of prime rib BUT when re hostess seated us she really talked it up at that point we should have been told they were out. we went because we wanted steak and that is what they are known for.we We also where there at 6:45pm we ordered prime rib and said they were out They had 2 wedding parties.They should have more on hand since they have the restaurant BUT our waiter got the manager and we got our prime rib.
This restaurant's food is always good, the service excellent and is an attractive place to dine in. I appreciate the coupon bonus from Restaurant.com.
Hostess, waiter, and Water server were very attentive. Food was plentiful(took some home), nice portion, and cooked just as we asked. Being it was our 51st anniversary, the 3 above people brought out a lighted dessert and sang to us. It was a great evening! We would definitely go back!!
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We went on a Thursday night and were treated to singing and a dance floor. Delightful!
We went on "Date Night," and were very impressed by the crooner belting out old school songs. It made for a great atmosphere.

Staff very friendly & courteous. We had made a reservation,however, we had to wait 45 minutes before being seated. There were private parties, which hadn't left yet. The hostess apologized for the wait and bought us a drink while we waited.
Entertainer very good - food outstanding!
My husband and I got married there a year ago, so we celebrated our 1 year anniversary with them. They treated us like family - everyone remembered us and they even gave us a complimentary dessert and sang Happy Anniversary!

The atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was very tasty.
The presentation of food and quality is very good.However, since we could not use the coupon on specials, we could have done as well with them and had dessert and wine for the same price as we spent using the coupon.
We love everything about Doolan's except being charged for a second cup of tea.

Decor is very 1970, old, not updated. Food was just okay. For price, should be better. And we go out to eat at least three times a week.
This was our first visit, we made a reservation and told them it was our Anniversary. We received a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Food was great, atmosphere great, service and personnel were great. Definitely go here again!!
Beautiful place, great food
My fillet mignon was delicious, and the broccoli was steamed and cooked perfectly.
The entrees were overpriced by approximately 2-3 dollars. The seafood platter my wife had was a bit skimpy and servings on the small side for the $30 charged.
we were late arrivals and were treated warmly and efficiently. the staff is top rate and friendly.
The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.
Menu was varied and offered good choices - quality of food and service was excellent.

Great dinning experience
Have gone to this restaurant for many years and now that it has changed to the Shore Club its no longer what it used to be which was a friendly warm enviornment has turned into a cold non-inviting one, the food was ok but we will not return, its upsetting for a restaurant that youve known for a long time change over to try to become something it isnt.
The quality of the food far surpassed our expectations. The servers provided excellent service, we felt very much catered to. Great experience overall.

Oksana was a terrific, attentive waitress. My wife ordered mid-rare filet mignon which I believe was med-well sirloin, but it was good anyway.
Steaks were very good, but extremely overpriced for a restaurant like this. Seriously, who do they think they are: Brennans? Service was excellent though.
We attended a wedding here & enjoyed it so much we decided to have dinner here-we weren't disappointed-service,food & atmosphere were great!
The alacart menu was extremely expensive, not worth the prices for the meals. The scallops was a small portion for 29.00$ not worth returning for those prices
We were very impressed!! We have been going to Doolan's for years and recently they have made significant improvements. Staff was very attentive, food was excellent, portions were huge... We will be going back more often. Cheers

Actually my girlfriend and I went to see the Waterfront Duo. Leon is outstanding and we love to dance to his music.
The Peppered Ahi tuna app was not peppered. The Chilean sea bass was cold in the center as if it was pre made as was the tuna app. The sweet potato fries were also cold. We returned the tuna and ordered the fried calamari and it was very greasy. The restaurant seems to be a second thought here; the first being the banquet hall where a wedding reception was going on. We were disappointed since we were expecting more from a restaurant in Spring Lake.

My Dad was friends with Mr. Doolan. We had the first wedding ever at the Village Barn in 1958.

The food, service and ambience was terrific. We finished our evening in the bar area and had a wonderful time there as well listening to the band.

Dining at Doolan's was a very pleasant experience. They have a wonderful menu and food was great. The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and friendly. The staff took excellent care of us and we would go back again.
We both had steak for dinner and they were excellent. The atmosphere is just ok. but we lucked out and there was entertainmnet and dancing which was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely return to Doolan's Shore Club and probably bring friends.
