The menu on the restaurant.com site was the lunch menu and it didn’t clarify that, So when we got to the restaurant the entrées were over double that price. It was an old restaurant and not very clean
Dirty wine glass. Swordfish too salty. Bread basket wasn’t full and no crackers in it. Prime rib was not as delicious as in years past
Food severs touching food with hands and food barely warm at best
We had 12noon reservations and appreciated being allowed to sit and visit without interruption until 2:15.

The prime rib is excellent. You can cut it with a fork.
The food was great, and the server Katherine was a professional. In the midsts of a busy Friday night, she handled everything well.
We always receive superior service from the waitresses in the bar section of the restaurant.
Very attentive and prompt wait staff service. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience.

Everything had great flavor, but the cream ed corn was out of this world!!
Nice restaurant - great server - will be there more often

Food was average for $41 per Prime ribs, nothing is special about cream of spinach, and cream of corn is not from fresh corn. Yorkshire pudding was so average, nothing special about it. I did order a fresh caught fish of the day, the dish was prepared so bland along with plain fettuccine pasta and sauteed veggies. The presentation was also average, not better than Golden Corral for a "high end" restaurant. Just need a few little tweaks would definitely elevate the whole experience.
Food is great - portions are generous - classic old-world menu in a warm funky 19th-century English interior

The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the chateaubriand and my friend has the Prime Rib bones. We both had enough leftovers for another meal. Key lime pie was light and yummy.

THE MORE EXPENSIVE FRENCH DIP WHICH IS MY FAVORITE WAS TOUGH AND HAD A LOT OF FAT. HOPE IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN
We enjoy having Tony as our server. He is very personable and friendly. Thank you Gulliver's and Tony!!!
Food and service were excellent. Their prime rib is better than Lawrys.

High quality good food and restaurant. Great service.
The food was very good. Our server was great and extremely friendly. Had an enjoyable time.

we had reservation but they forgot to keep our table. We waited for one hour ! Food was not good at all.
Great food. Fun environment. Good service. Wish it was quieter for our anniversary dinner.
Best birria in town. Quality ingredients. Home made tortillas. Never an aching stomach! Cheers!!!
We were visiting with friends we hadn't seen in a few years. The waitress was a perfect gem. She was visible if we needed her yet kept her distance so we felt comfortable taking all the time we needed to order then eat.
Constantly trying to upsell you and get you to buy more. You got I have soup, it's the best in town. The desert is great. I've never had better. Direct quotes from the waitress. All sales technique to get you to buy more and overstuff yourself.
The prime rib and ribeye are always fantastic, the best escargot anywhere in Orange County, and you can never have enough of their creamed corn. Shout out to Melissa for her great, friendly personality and attentiveness. An overall wonderful experience.
Great food and service! I could be here every day. Manager & server was great and friendly!
Went for the prime rib, but it has become too pricey. Ordered mahi, duck and chicken instead. All were terrific, as were the appropriately selected side dishes. Tried the Mushroom Cappuccino soup, which was also delightful. Service was friendly and attentive. Today is the wife's birthday, and they made our dinner special.
Food was good but we got there at 8:30 and felt really rushed restaurants open till 9 but hostess at 8:30 was a little hesitant to seat us.
Food and service will compete with any specialty restaurant.
The person who greeted when we came in was not friendly. The food was less than average. Our server was very nice. Great service.
Today the lady server was very good, very attentive and agreeable. The filet mignon stroganoff was excellent as usual. Just love it and the bread was warm and good which I like very much.
We felt welcomed and appreciated. Waitress attentive and nice. This is a very nice place.
Our server, Kathy, was great and we had a great dining experience as a result!
The prime rib melts in your mouth.
Great service yummy food
seated ion front of kitchen. food was below average. service was average. not as good as past years.noisey. group decided we will do our xmas dinner elsewhere
Best prime rib in Orange County
The service was great and the food was delicious. It was a Christmas dinner with friends and we even had a separate table to put our gifts on.
The prime rib is served in large cut portions. The food is pricey, but good. The restaurant setting is very casual, there is nothing fancy about the place, but the food is good.
My wife and I went for lunch to celebrate a special anniversary. We each had 2 martini's and both had the large lunch cut prime rib, which is their signature item (I'm always surprised that there are people there ordering something other than the prime rib!) If you are in the mood to splurge (or on an expense account), this is THE place to get top quality, perfectly cooked prime rib.
Server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very egar to please. She wanted our dining experience to be enjoyable.
Great Food and Service, plus the restaurant was superbly decorated for Halloween.
Great food and service.
J.J. was our waitress. She was efficient, funny, and very pretty!

Gulliver's is our favorite restaurant.
dated decor is in good shape menu is dated too, although I went for prime rib
Very good, but food is available on schedule day...disappointed...little pricey..over all good service..good food!
The menu selection is extremely inviting. The service was very attentive. The breads are a great introduction to the delicious food. Well done!
The Prime Rib I had was cooked perfectly. It was very tender and tasty and the portion was large enough that I was able to have leftovers for my meal the next day.
Incredible food and service it was our one year anniversary you made our day
Decor is great, old English home. Services is excellent. Food is big portions.
great bar service
Interesting ambiance, friendly waiter, food was good.
Great service and good food
Value and service
Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food.
Service was good
It was really great but missing mint sauce
The prime rib was very fatty but the service was great. Thank you so much!
Everything was great as usual and I almost don't want to bring up that my prime rib was a bit dry this time. Maybe it was because it was the end of the night. I always order it Med-rare and it was but it wasn't soft and juicy like normal. I'm sure it was a fluke. Had to mention it. The service was great and so was all the other sides and salads. I'll be back
Very disappointing!!! Extremely bad service and food doesn't even equate to the level of a high end restaurant which they consider themselves. Their price is very pricey and their food is cold when served to us. Food taste is very ordinary. Other smaller chain restaurants food taste far exceed the quality of this one. Our order was taken 1 hour after we arrived and that is after calling other waiter and speaking to the manager about it. Our order was eventually taken by a another waiter from the other dining room. Later our food was delivered by our waiter but everything is cold (prime rib, creamed spinach and corn, Yorkshire pudding, Au jus). Waiter never came back to check how our food was. Our desert (cake) was stale and is very dry. Seems like cake was left in the refrigerator for days uncovered. Lastly, even their credit card machine is broken and our payment has to be processed manually through a sheet of paper which I don't feel comfortable on as they can misplaced it and can land on wrong hands. It's our celebration for my husband's birthday and it was a big disappointment. We gave 1 cent tip to deliver a message. We will never go back there again. Our first and last dining there. Our bill was $97.00 less $15.00 discount voucher from restaurant.com. Our bill of $82..00 is not worth the money we paid and our time and energy going there. Will highly discourage anyone from dining there.
We had a not rushed dinnng experience.
Overall, the food was good. We ordered 2 prime rib and a Mahi Mahi (the fish menu for the day. We were a bit disappointed that the food was a bit cold when it was served. The vegetables especially were cold. The fish was OK but slightly oily.
We were walk ins…on New Year's Eve and were seated immediately! Thanks for no hassles on a beautiful date night!
Food was excellent and enjoyed the Christmas decor.
While crowded, due to the Holiday Season, the Food was TERRIFIC and the Service couldn't have been better!
wasn't as good as years past
This was not our best experience at this restaurant. The staff was not professional. Waiters were not curious reaching over people to serve and clear the table, rushing us etc. During the clearing off of a neighboring table the staff brushed food off onto one of our parties purse that was on the food next to her chair. Restaurant was crowded and very busy and we were seated on an isle that the wait staff frequented. At one point some staff members were loudly talking about bets they had made on a sporting event. Just not professional for this class of restaurant.
Very busy lunch still fantastic food and great service
this was the first time I have had lunch there. the menu was extensive and the service was excellent.
We (2 people) arrived before 5 pm. At 5 pm when the door opened, we followed in the group of waiting people and gave our name to the hostess. We then went and sat at the bar counter. We were the only ones at the bar. My girlfriend wanted to get a drink, but the bartender (male) never came to ask us. In a little while a friend came in that he knew, sat at the bar and he was served a drink immediately. We were at the bar for 15-20 minutes before our table was ready. Nobody else came to the bar during that time and the bartender never came to ask us about drinks during that time. This was the worst bar service that we have ever experienced in all our years going to Gulliver's. This bartender should be fired. He is not the quality of staff that Gulliver's is known for or expected!
we were seated very quickly in spite of their parking lot being full of cars.
Restaurant has a moldy smell, and very dated in my opinion
Tonight my prime rib was fatty which was unusual. Also, our waiter was very sloppy. He put our cream corn on our dirty bread plates and slopped it on the table. It was like he was working in a cafeteria the way he served it. We had a bottle of wine and he also spilled wine on the table while pouring it in the glass.
We were one of two large parties at the restaurant that night. Food was good, but the service was lacking.
Service was excellent as was the food
Service was excellent as was the food
As in all aspects of life you get what you pay for
Waitress was very nice and attentive. What my friend and I especially enjoyed was how quiet it was. How nice to be able to have a conversation without having to yell across the table.
When we called for reservations, we were asked if it was a special occasion. It was our 41st anniversary. We were also asked both of our names. We then assumed there would be a little something special with the dinner. There was not. There wasn't even a mention of our anniversary. We were told we had an excellent table and an excellent waiter. The table was simply one in the middle of the dining room. The waiter was adequate, nothing more. Actually, we had to call him over a couple of times to ask for an item or two. He checked on us once, I believe, during the meal. I would not call that excellent service.
Great service-excellent food
Best of the best
Best of the best
The Caesar salad was delicious and flavorful, and they give an option with or without anchovies. The food in general was good and I would like to try some other items. Prices are pretty expensive, though.
Service fine...not over the top...
I wanted it to be great. We were celebrating a birthday. The rack of ribs was overdone and dry, hard to chew. The slaw was strange, the 2x baked potatoes look like left overs. For the price, the food should have been much better. My husband's salmon was "fishy" to me. The place is tired and needs refurbishing. The menus were frayed on the edges, the seat cushions flat, all too dark. The server & bussers were attentive and did a good job. We had reservations so were seated immediately. A piece of birthday cake came for the birthday girl. We had been there 20 years ago and remembered it as great. This was disappointing.
The quality of everything here is wonderful. It is one of our favorite places to celebrate anything.
Food was mediocre. Overpriced. Creamed spinach and corn were drowning in cream.
While my husbands prime ribs was excellent, my Chateaubriand was over charred making the steak almost inedible as the charred flavor was overpowering. I was only able to eat maybe a quarter of the steak itself. When the waitress did come over to ask how everything was, my husband was almost done with his prime rib and I am usually afraid to send food back. She did see that I did not eat much of it and asked if it was ok, so I let her know the problem but I did not want return the food and get the chef upset.
Excellent food and, good management/service that provided a complimentary birthday dessert
Attentive and friendly staff
Our waiter, Tony, was very attentive and provided a slice of cake for my birthday. Very special, very nice, thank you!
Was a frequest guest at Gullivers and hadn't been for a while. Went to celebrate a birthday for out-of-town guests. Sadly, the food was Fair to Neutral and the cost had skyrocketed. Don't mind paying for good food but was disappointed in the food AND service.
For Valentine's, they raised their prime rib price to $36. I believe it's normally $30. The flavor was good, but it was not very soft. For $40, I can get a real prime rib at Fleming's plus dessert. Their cream corn was excellent.
Ate at the Bar and service was really slow
Our waitress made some suggestions that were right on and we never felt rushed as we enjoyed our evening.
Always wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Thank you.
We enjoyed lunch here for my husband's birthday. Such amazing Christmas decorations, friendly staff and yummy food!
Great food as always and the service was outstanding.
Food was good, service was so so. Busy Friday night, seated quickly with Open Table reservation, slow table service. Food came out quickly though.
Very comfortable/romantic décor and lighting, we visited the bar to have a couple of $5 happy hour drinks and found a table of complimentary appetizers such as sushi rolls, crackers, cheese, deviled eggs, at 5:30 they added sliders to the table, Mon-Friday Happy hour 4pm.
Our server was attentive and the owner stopped by twice to see how we were doing.
The atmosphere is always pleasant and the staff are friendly.
The food was phenomenal and the ambiance was very relaxing and classy. Service was wonderful. Very pleased with everything!
I have really liked the steak salad. This time I was very disappointed in the quality of the meat. It had too much fat and grizzle. My companion said her meat was very tough and hard to cut. Not good. Too bad.
The prime rib was excellent.
Staff was gracious enough to re-seat us to a quieter location.
Its old and outdated for todays appetites. Full of intoxicated senior citizens.... creamed spinach, yorkshire pudding bread, cream corn and prime rib.... the worth the $$.
Great atmosphere
An exceptional lunch.
The resyaurant was very accommodating helping us make our 8 pm show and getting us a table with no rreservations.
This was actually my brother's experience. The certificate was a gift for him. He had a good time. Food and service were good.
Great service and good quality food.
love the ambiance, food is delicious, server freindly
Our waiter Tony was excellent in every way. He is a great asset to your organization.
We enjoyed the bread and the meals. The service was excellent, with our waiter refilling our sodas and the bus boy clearing dishes. The food was delicious.
We ordered the Prime rib and substituted the Yorkshire pudding for extra vegetables. The Creamed Spinach was less than enthusiastic, but the meat and Creamed Corn were excellent! Since it was my birthday, they gave me a complimentary English Trifle for dessert at no charge. It was fine. We will go back again, but next time we will order one Prime Rib and split it. Plenty of meat, and it will reduce our bill by $34.
We were seated almost an hour after our reservation, the bar was understaffed, and the food was mediocre. We told them we were celebrating a birthday and they never acknowledged it.
Our waiter was prompt and efficient. Our food was hot and good. We were not rushed. Over all it was a good dining experience. Also, the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Thank you.
My daughter's prime rib was rare, when it was asked for medium, sent back once, and came back rare again. She only ate a couple of bites around the edge, and brought it home to cook herself. The service was poor. The waiter/waitress that was tag teaming our table was very slow and they did not seem to care about the quality of service. Also this was a birthday. It was mentioned at the time I made the reservation, and brought up by the host when we arrived, but never got a mention, happy birthday, or even a cheap piece of cake by our waiter/waitress. We have been coming to this restaurant for years and are very disappointed.
Our Server, Holly was an absolute Doll!
Best Prime Rib in So Cal for sure
good food, service, waitress engagement
food was great. service was really spotty. we had to ask twice for water and horseradish. no one came around to ask us how are food was. too long to get wine and check. she was friendly though.
Quality of prime rib lunch portion not tender and fatty. Ordered rare and it was rare but not a quality cut. Also shrimp and crab louie very skimpy for the price. Cream with coffee going bad and shrimp in house salad did not taste fresh. French dip sandwich better then the prime rib. Have had better experiences in the past.
great waitress. The creamed corn is too sweet. The trifle isn't really a trifle with a jam filling when it should be fresh berries. Muldoon's has a true trifle. the rest of the food was great!
Service is excellent food great. Prime rib is tasty and moist.
The food and atmosphere is great and the attentive wait staff allows you plenty of time to enjoy the meal.
Excellent prime rib, so-so sidesGood service
Love the atmosphere. Our food was really good and our waitress was really good and had a great personality.
We had a lovely woman server. She was attentive and kind. The lighting is very dim. The restaurant is a little antiquated.
We were seated within 10 minutes and our server was great. She was so accommodating and I was able to get different vegetables with my sand dabs. (loved her braids)
the servers here are always so pleasant & there's good variety on the menu. this was our first time for lunch. we usually do prime rib for dinner.
service is superior, food is excellent, and drinks are fair.
Emma - our server - was very attentive and so helpful in our entrée decisions. We felt pampered and it is just what we had hoped it would be at Gulliver's. Even the man assisting our server was prompt and attentive. We had saved this visit for a special occasion and we are so glad we went to Gulliver's
This location had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Greeted by 2 friendly hostesses and seated promptly. All the customers were happy & looked to be enjoying their meals.
Such a beautiful environment, all decorated fr Valentines day, really pretty
It is Jan 13 and Christmas decorations were still inside the restaurant Hostess was NOT friendly and wanted to place us at a bad location even though we had reservations and lunch time was not even close to full.
Great food, great service
It was still decorated for the holiday season, our waitress was fantastic as was the food.
I really liked the prime rib and creamed corn. The bread was awesome too.Unfortunately a few in our party had a distasteful experience. Chicken Caesar Salad was not very good, dry chicken and flat dressing. The English Trifle was so so, nothing really fancy or "wow" about it. The Smoked Salmon was good but for the portion size it was a bit pricey.
Great restaurant and great staff. Wonderful Christmas decoration.
Ambiance was lovely. Wonderful holiday decorations.
We last dined there over 30 years ago, but the food, service, and ambience were as good as we remembered.
Our server was awesome!! She was attentive and adjusted the meal as needed for dietary restrictions.
Prompt friendly servers. Excellent food, and ambiance.
All of the staff was welcoming, as was the atmosphere. The Hallowe'en decorations were festive but not overly done. Our table was available on time which let us relax about getting to the theater on time.
This is a very fine restaurant.
Love the atmosphere. It took the waiter too long from the time we sat down to take our order. I ordered the filet bruschetta appetizer and glass of wine. The meat was cold which completely altered the flavor.
We arrived a bit too late for lunch, which ends at 3:00. This was our 1st time enjoying the bar menu, siting at the bar. We got the three item combo ($23), and have enough food left for several more meals. The quality was excellent. 1. Bones 2. Chili 3. Quesadilla, and a side of chips. Heaven!
Fast and friendly service, great food.
Good food, good service.
Good experience.
Everything was good but not great. The food was good but for the price should have been excellent. The corn was not hot. the primerib did not have much flavor.
Food quality, service, cocktails and ambience were great!
Consistently great! You can always count on the same great food & great service at Gulliver's.
Horribly over priced food. $20 for a salad. $40 for an entrée. Very slow and Poor service. Ordered a dessert that was horrible. Asked to return it and get something else. "NO".
Loved the way the place was decorated and also, the food was great!
Food and service were both outstanding.
Very nice prime rib. Good servers.I suggest a bigger certificate ($6 for only $15???)
Good service only complain was waitress should have brought a dish for shells as one of our guests had he seafood pasta
Ive had better prime rib at Carrows. The sides were not good. My date got seafood, it was just as bad. The problems were all in the food. The place itself was cute, but I was surprised at the crowd. I would never go back.
Bread not hot, mistake with the bill not taking off discount and hard to flag down waitress, food was just OK not great.
Have been here many times and always very Good!! Service, food excellent!!Nicest servers in the World!! Prime Rib is the best outside of Vegas!! Decor a little old school ,but no big deal when everything else is Super!!
Great food
Service was very good, very friendly. The restaurant was decorated to the top for Xmas. I loved it.
Our server, Stephanie was great as was Dennis, the bartender,Iliya, manager and Oded Mazor, the owner. Service and food were wonderful.
I ate in the Bar and the service was a little slowNot enough staff
Halloween decorations were great. Manager and waitresses were friendly and on the spot. Food and service was great.
The food was great as well as the service. Enjoyed the decor, especially the Halloween decorations.
Server seemed busy or just a cold personality
