Food is always outstanding. Staff could use a little workshop on service standards. Always kind but lacking in polish.

Service was quite slow. Music came on extremely loud 20-25 minutes befor the Friday dancing began, made it very hard to carry on a conversation! After dinner, it took about another 20 minutes to catch our server so we could get boxes to take home our uneaten dinner. We were disappointed with “this” recent visit. I hope the next time things will be like it normally is!!
I think the restaurant lacked enough servers. So it was s rather long wait, but we chatted and before you new it, our food was served and it was delicious.

There was 3 in our party and we wanted to eat early at 6:30. There was a buffet at 9pm which is $20 per person and live music to follow. We would like to check that out next time as the buffet sounded amazing and a great price. It is good to call them ahead to see what programs are offered that night.

I had the mix grill and it was delicious. For dessert i had pistachio ice cream. For appetizer i had humus.

Only negative thing is that the tables are much too small to hold all the food, And the tables are pushed together so tightly, you can't get between people without them having to move their chair.

Everything was great but music was a bit too loud when belly dancer came out. It made it difficult to talk at our table. So maybe slightly lower.
Everything is great as usual, but as usual the service is slow as it seems that there are too many customers for our waitress.
We went to Mijana West on Bell Rd and 56th Ave. as it is very close for us. They gracioiusly accepted Restaurant.com and made it a memorable experience. It was my birthday and they brought out special dessert treats. We loved it and it is now our new "go-to" place. They have belly dancing and music on Friday/Saturdays so we are definitely going back for that. Our waiter was the most wonderful server - kind, offering lots of information, and just the best. The Restaurant is clean and nice atmosphere. We loved the music playing and the food was scrumptious delicious. Very good prices.
Burgers were dry and the beef sandwich was flavorless. Service was choppy and slow. Nice guys though

The waitress was extremely inattentive to our table. Even after the restaurant emptied out.
We were treated as just a number. More focus was places on one table with a large party and their needs than hours. No even a 'is everything ok with your meal? Or what else can we get for you' poor customer service.
If you like Middle Eastern food, this p,ace is for you. Excellent!!

The pita was fresh and warm, as usual! I ordered a mixed grill and received just the grilled chicken plate. The waiter apologized profusely and put in an order for the steak and kofta. It took quite awhile to arrive, but the meat was freshly grilled and hot. Mike ordered the Paella dish and was totally disappointed. It was just some grilled shrimp and mussels on rice, like all the grilled meat entrees. It was NOT even close to the Spanish seafood/rice dish that Mike has ordered many times at other restaurants. It was not simmered in the flavorful broth/sauce, with sausage, veggies, etc. and is terrible representation of Paella. You should just call it a grilled seafood or shrimp and mussel plate so people are not disappointed. I liked my meal!
Meat was dry and not tough (not juicy enough) in all the 4 meals we ordered. Sides were good. I like, that they add a complimentary salad to each meal.

After raving about Mijana, We brought friends for their first visit and we were disappointed in the service and some of the entrees.
Food was good (the kebabs were bit over-cooked) and service was slow at the beginning but it picked up later.

Staff wasn't very friendly and didn't pay close attention with only 3 other people in the restaurant. Lighting was terrible in the restaurant, had some fans under lights causing flicking light and really bright in other areas. Place could definitely use some "bar rescue" tips, but food was excellent.

This time things were just off. Service was slow. Food didn't come out right or together. I'll try it again though since our last experience was excellent. Hoping this was just an off night.

Food was great, especially the fresh pita bread. Service was a bit lacking, never even asked if we wanted anything to drink and we had to stop someone to give them our food order.
The customer service was horrible. The staff didn't tell us about any seating arrangements so after standing by the entrance for a while we asked if we could seat ourselves. The waiter took our orders and told us to wait to order drinks until after he get the food orders. I ordered a Margarita which was extremely bitter and we told the waiter who then took the drink and never brought me back anything to drink so we ended up sharing my dates lemonade. He brought the appetizer and the main dish to the table at the same time. When we requested a refill on lemonade he brought it back and placed it at the end of the table where no one was sitting. I was absolutely floored by the service.

We enjoyed your visit to Mijana's. The service was good and the belly dancing was enjoyable. However, the Kofta Kabab that I ordered was to well done and dried out.
We love Miejana's. The food and service are always excellent. This visit, I was instrumental in our retirement community bringing a busload of 16 hungry seniors to Mijana's. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Very clean restaurant. We were greeted at the door & seated. The service was very good. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The baklava was delicious! I will definitely go back.

I Was the only 1 in the restaurant but had to ask for a menu & then asked to order. I had to ask for more water. I waited awhile for the waiter to p/u my credit card to pay. He was busy talking to a girl waiter.

Love Mijana. The food is delicious. We have dinner here every time we visit Scottsdale. Chicken tawouk, babaghanoush, tabboule are our all time favorites.. Plus the bread of course
Really good Lebanese food. The chicken was grilled and so tender and tasty. The hummus, baba ghanoush, tabboule were full of flavor. Service is prompt and the servers are very friendly. We love this place.

The food generally was pretty good. The rice is delicious, as were our appetizers and the babaganoush. We didn't think highly of our first drinks, so we changed our orders for subsequent rounds and liked them better. In general, the service was slow but there were also major bright spots to it. We will return.

One in our party ordered the special, but was given steak cabobs instead. It was explained as a computer error. She ordered fries with it and received rice. Fries were delivered long afterward. She should have had a vegetable and had a little salad, but she decided not to make a big deal. Waitress was covering inside and outside at the same time. Waitresses were very rushed, although not all tables were full. Our waitress was very very nice. Maybe this was busier than they expected to be. Water and drinks were always filled. Lots of deserts to chose from, but ones we ordered were just fair.

The food was pretty good and pricey, but I would recommend more spicing for flavor in the meats and rice. Also, the meats were all well-done and that is overcooked by my standards. Further the rice should b basmati rice and not plain rice.

I eat here abt once every couple of months. The food is always good. Yesterday was the first day it wasn't. If I lived close I would've brought the food back. The eggplant was bitter, the rice was hard (parboiled) and the food lacked seasoning. Very disappointed.

Been here before and expererience was great. The food on this visit was excellent for all in group. Came for lunch on a day where floor cleaning and inside work was being done, leaving staff with not as much time to attend to customers. However food did come out quickly when ordered and all enjoyed it. Will definitely come back again.

Not enough waitresses. Food was brought out promptly, but we never got refills on water or iced tea,forgot we asked for lemon, had to ask for that.

We were greeted promptly when we entered the restaurant and the waitstaff was very friendly during our visit. My wife had the lamb and I had the quail both of which were delicious. Our appetizer and the wine were recommended by the waitress and were also very good. We were pleased to discover that our meal came with entertainment in the form of a belly dancer. All in all we had a very good time with the only drawback being that I was facing construction in progress the whole night(I'm pretty sure my wife arranged that so I couldn't see the belly dancer)

Our waitress was very helpful and suggested one selection that was for 2 or 4 persons. We decided on that and she said get the one for 2 persons because that a two appetisers are enough for 4 people. The food was excellent and we even brought some home.

Blonde haired girl was out front smoking with another girl when I came in. She saw me coming in and went inside just before me as I walked though the cigarette smell/smoke. She took my order and went to put the bread in the oven. As far as I could see, she had not washed her hands and grabbed the raw bread with her bare hands. The baklava was dry and without much flavor - this time. In the past it has been delicious. Rest of meal was yummy too (as usual)!

The food was good but our elderly father was unable to chew the Filet Mignon, which we had suggested he not order. The background music was way too loud to have conversation among our 8 diners.
The Lentil & Beet salad was delicious. The caramelized onions added to the flavor and texture. And, it had just the right amount of dressing. The lamb kebab was okay. The rice and salad were good. In general, the portions of everything were ample. The Veggie Okra was tasty but would have been better served warm. And, the portion was okay. The gal next to us had the Mousaka. It was a stew served in a bowl. I've never seen Mousaka prepared this way. She said it was good but had a lot of potatoes in it. I would eat the Lentil & Beet salad anytime. To me, that was a real stand-out. In general, we enjoyed our dining experience.

Authentic food. Belly dancing and restaurant weeknight features (Latin dance lessions with $ 10 charge) are great feature. Have to go back !

Had to drag my "not another new place" reluctant husband there. Since we are not interested in belly dancing, we dined earlier. Food was FANTASTIC and we will return.

I usually order the same thing every time I go but I have decided to work my way around the menu. I had the rib tips and they were good. I will try something new the next time. Their portions are great including a nice large glass of water. I am happy they are moving to a better building that will be handicap accessible.

The novelty of the menu made it very enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we went on a week night and missed the belly dancers.
Found the food bland and had to s & P a lo. Also, the lamb chops were not expensive, but would rather pay more and have a better chop.
