I was very thirsty, so the bus boy left a whole pitcher of ice water on our table. The waitress was so polite and kept checking on our drinks and it was my birthday and she brought out a ice cream Sunday that we shared. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

We just love it. Food is excellent. Value is awesome. They participate in both restaurant programs I'm in. Location is convenient even though parking notsomuch ?? Eat her at least once nice every time we pick up and drop off kids at college.

Love their burgers; Caesar dressings is one of the best in Norman! The queso is not a good value. Price high for the amount in the bowl. Hard to add that on to the meal for an appetizer.

We were told the daily special usually runs out about 4 o'clock and that was disappointing.
Food was good.service was excellentreallylike their double margaritas they serve for justalittle more. WOuld like to see them order a few booster seats for toddlers. My grandson isotonic for a high chair,but too small to sit Ina booth or a chair.I know this is campus kidsoriented, but you might get more families in if you offered booster seats and they are very inexpensive.
We had great food while watching the Olympics and our favorite MLB team. They always switch a nearby TV to the game that we request.

Excellent service.Sandwich was not the chicken friend chicken used in the special, or did not seem to be.Chicken fried Steak was about 1/3 smaller than they used to offer on the Friday special. Less flavorful.Biggest drawback was queso was served cold. not barely warm, but cold. A first in over 25 years of eating at the O, so it was sent back and stricken from tab.Hoping this is an aberration, as Jeff's people usually have it together.

Disappointed this time. Burgers cooked too long and were very dry. Bun seemed like it had been cooked too long as well. Onion rings were amazing!

The atmosphere is outstanding for any fan of Oklahoma University sports teams. The Theta burger and mushroom Swiss burger were delicious. Great onion rings and attentive service made for a fantastic dining experience.

We had to wait 40 minutes after we ordered to get food. Then the fries were cold. It took another 12 minutes to get more. The bun on my burger was COLD like it had just come out of the refrigerator.

Our burgers would have been delicious except they were overcooked and dry. The mushrooms/swiss was great and the fries were hot and crispy. Main problem was that we left hungry...and cleaned our plates. The portions were really small for the price. For $8 a burger plate we should have been stuffed and we had to go home and snack. It's unfortunate because the location is fun and convenient for us but we won't go back...
Service was horrible. Waitress got our order wrong multiple times. Ticket was wrong, food took forever, and very few refills. Not like the old O'Connell's

I eat there often; however, because I had a certificate(and was buying),I brought my 21 year old son who lives in Norman and had never eaten at O'Connells before. He loved the food so I think the certificate get's credit for getting a new customer. My son really liked his burger.
We love O'Connell's. I wish they would serve steamed veggies. I would come more often. Also, my chicken breast was dry yesterday. The hamburgers and sweet potato fries are amazing!
We are from Dallas and enjoyed having a nice affordable meal while going to a college visit at OU, if my daughter should attend there I am sure we will be regular customers
Waitress seemed reluctant to take coupon, we have had this problem here before. They do not like to take it. I tipped on the amount before coupon.
I grew up in Norman, where O'Connell's is located. It is a very well-known and popular place to eat. Having restaurant.com certificates allows me the opportunity to eat there more frequently.
Menu seems different than when I ate there 25 years ago. Good atmosphere. Good food.

We chose O'Connell's to celebrate a birthday & was a very good experience. Although the birthday shirt is not a factor in why we go to O'Connell's, it is odd that they never have the shirts in stock. This is the case whether it is in February, March, June, October or December.

As vegetarians, we had a difficult time finding much food we could eat on the menu. However, our server was awesome and went above and beyond in accommodating us. I strongly recommend offering a veggie burger option.
Wait time was long; when I got my burger, it was cold and not cooked thoroughly (I specified well-done as I am pregnant) and the bread (bun) was wet and soggy (Yuck!). and I asked for the home-cut fries & was served frozen fries and had to wait additional time for the correct fries. Never Again!

The chicken was wonderful. We (children and grandchildren) also had hamburgers and fries...super! We ate there a week ago and were back last night. Great atmosphere! (We actually live in Edmond but our daughter is in Norman.) O'Connell's is our new place thanks to restaurant.com.
The food was good, just a bit off from advertised. The Ceasar Burger had very little ceasar dressing. The Blue Cheese & Tabasco burger had no taste of tabasco. Pickles and Fries were awesome.
