My wife ordered a side that our server forget to put in. They were able to get the side to us within 5 minutes of re-ordering but we had to remind them what we ordered.

My family has eaten at the restaurant several times before and always had excellent service and food, we went for a birthday on a Monday night. The waitress failed to inform us that if we upgraded my teenagers meal from 3 to four pieces of chicken tenders fries wouldn't come with the meal. In addition the bread basket contained very hard and stale bread, in the past the bread was very soft and delicious this time it was a bit hard.
Hostess had her 2 kids in the dining room when we arrived. The were screaming on the top of their lungs. As we were just finishing our meal not sure what happened but the hostess was yelling on the top of her lungs. Didn’t plan on spending $60 some dollars and listening to that. Not a pleasant experience

Server was very busy,but she was still attentive to our needs. Always had a smile, and that's important to us. Enjoyed our meal,great food!

The food was very good and the service was too. They had staff who regularly checked to see if they could clear things away or get us a refill on something. We were also not pressured to leave quickly, even though they seemed pretty busy. The restaurant has different rooms, so we were actually in a small room with only 3-4 additional groups. I only wish I had the ability to score them 4.5 or 4.7. They are much better than "good" but I wouldn't say "excellent."

The food was excellent as always. We had spaghetti & meatballs, stuffed shells, and meat ravioli. Everything was great,as well as the service. We moved away from the area & still drive over an hour a few times a year.

Six varied meals and all were enjoyed. Shrimp bisque was tasty and creamy. Salads included with meals were abundant. Nice size shrimp in my pasta dish. Friends clam sauce was tasty. Rolls were fresh and warm.

We arrived at a busy time so service was a bit slower than usual. However, our server was extremely nice, and the atmosphere was great so we didn’t mind the wait.
We live quite a distance from this Italian restaurant & our past meals bring us back when we are in the area. Service was excellent & attentive,soup, salad & pasta delicious! However we both had veal parm & it was tough. Usually so tender you can cut with a fork,this time we struggled even with a knife. Quite surprising& i hope it was a fluke as we look forward to our occasional visits here.

ROCCO & ANNA'S RISTORANTE - consistently great Italian entrees We have dined many times here and make the 50 minute drive from our home due to the $25 restaurant dot com certificate great value. I had the Liguine Pescatore and my partner had the Veal with portabella mushrooms. Both were delicious, plentiful and temperature hot. Jacklyn did a professional job in her service.

Menu states that you get a salad and two sides or pasta. Upon ordering our salad we were told that starting today salads are $1 extra. That should have been noted on the menu. I had chicken parm and it tasted like processed chicken. Gave some to my husband to taste and he said the same thing. This is not are first time dining here and this time we were extremely disappointed.

we enjoyed both the veal parmesan (my husband ordered this) and the farfalle with shrimp, carrots and zucchini (I ordered it with alfredo sauce instead of red sauce). Glad that specials are offered so that we can try different entrees other than what's offered on the regular menu.

There was a large party that was very loud but there was no way for anyone to change that. They are loud men.

Tonight we enjoyed dinner at Rocco & Anna's in Parkesburg, a 46 minute drive from our condo. This eatery has fabulous fresh entrees comparable to Giovanni's in Edgewood. I got the Penne Pescatore featuring shrimp, bay scallops, clams & mussels over Penne pasta with a light tasty red sauce. Patti got the special of Chicken smothered in crab meat, sliced portabella mushroom & mozzarella cheese. We each ordered a glass of wine. The meal came with a small house salad and warm rolls. If the quality of the meal wasn't enough, we love that this restaurant offers the $25 restaurant dot com certificate, a motivator for making the long drive. Only minor issue is this place is noisy due to older building & no soundproofing.

Service is good, a spoon for pasta should be part of the table setting. Also Shake on cheese and hot pepper flakes should be part of the table setting. at times the waiter staff are so busy that they do not get back to see if you need a refill on drink. Over all it is a nice place to eat.

This restaurant is some distance from our home but well worth the drive. Very attentive waiter even though it was busy.We did call ahead to get a reservation & would recommend it. Fabulous food! Homemade pasta to die for!Can't wait to go back!

There was a party of 18 that apparently the chef was trying to get out, so instead of getting our two meals out, he put the 18 first. Because of that, despite good service from the waiter, our meal took over an hour to get to us.

My 83 yr old mother lives with me so we usually go out to eat together. The only way we could afford to eat here is by using a restaurant.com certificate. It is a little pricey for us "seniors" but affordable with the certificate :) We both had iced tea, Mom had Eggplant Parm w/Spaghetti and I had Lasagna. Both were large portions and I could only eat 1/4-1/3 of my lasagna! The meals came with salads (the Parmesan Peppercorn dressing is awesome!), heated rolls, and complimentary bruschetta. The total came to $11 after using the certificate, plus we left a $7 tip because the waitress was the best!I must say that our waitress, Amy, was awesome! She has been our waitress numerous times on other visits, and she is hands down the best. When she isn't there, the food is still excellent however the experience is not near as good! She cannot do enough for us when we go there and I will ask for her when we go back :)

The food has spoiled us for any other italian restaurant. There should probably be a bit more pasta with the chicken parm, its not very present with the dish, but the rest was excellent.The service food wise was good, although it took time to get her attention when we were ready to pay, and since no one was in the restaurant beside us at that point it seemed a little less logical.
2nd time there. Was put in a back room, away from main dining room. Poor service. It's like they forgot about else. Same thing as last time exactly, so guess that is how they do business.

The only thing that was less good, was that the toast with the tomato was not brought out, and the lettuce in the salad did not taste good. It made me choke, because there was a bitter taste to it.
I ordered soup to go(I ate dinner there) and they charged me almost double the price of the soup. Eat soup in and it cost $2.00- ask for it to go and it was $3.75.

The food was good as usual, except for the salad. The tomatoes that ended up on both salads were the end of the tomato, the part you would throw away, so apparently that was what they chose to put on the salad when we ordered them without onion. The waiter was not on point as he normally is, he got a larger table and spent a little more time than he maybe should have with them, while our food took a long time to come out, (45 minutes.) It worried us because we have a certain amount of time allotted to our evenings out, and had to get to pick up our son after dinner, and ended up not being there as quickly as we needed to be.

Great specials! Brought a friend who was quite impressed.
For three of us, with entrees and iced teas, the total was $49. With the $25 certificate, it was $24 and a $10 (plus the change) tip. The food was excellent, as was the waitress and staff. Very good food. I usually get the lasagna and end up taking half of it home.Since it is a "little" pricey for us seniors, we don't go here too often but, with the Restaurant.com certificate, we can afford it. We dine here 4-5 times a year but there was no option for that choice in the survey.I must say, in the past, I would not have rated the service by server as excellent. We were lucky and had an awesome waitress tonight :)

I think the prices are getting a bit high especially with the location being in Parkesburg. Might not eat there without a coupon. Chain restaurants realize the economy is not the way it used to be (bargain meals)- even though it is improving.

I can hardly remember when it was not tender and delicious; tonight was no exception, although I believe they may be cutting back slightly on the portion. The waitress made the experience. The last time we had been there we had a waiter who was distracted and did not refill any drinks. The waitresses were pleasant & professional. The food was hot & delicious.
The food was good, there was not enough bread, though. Drinks were not refilled enough. It was busy in the dining room but it seemed like a different experience than normal due to the situation.

It ends up making one not want to visit unless they have a ton of time. When sports are on next time my husband won't be eager to go to R & A's because he will think it will take too long. The patrons in the bar were very loud, as well, but we normally wouldn't hear this since we came early, except for the fact that it took too long to eat.
