Amazing food! Restaurant was very accomodating. Only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is that our esspresso came out before our desserts and was cold by time dessert was out.

Waitress took a bit to come over, but was very nice after that. chef and hostess said hello as we walked in and chef also walked around asking how everything was during our meal. atmosphere was very nice. food was good. i had the shrimp appetizer and the apple salad. too much dressing on the salad for me, but besides that it was really really good. shrimp dish was very tasty, but i have a pet peeve about tails being kept on my shrimp..... in a scampi dish, that requires me to pick up the missy tail and try to pull it off :(, or waste that whole portion if i just cut it off -- and find a spare plate to put the garbage on or the side of my plate. would really love for restaurants to serve shrimp without the tail -- except for shrimp cocktail where i guess you use the tail as a handle - def not IN a dish). very friendly staff. one criticism: the music was HORRENDOUS :( high pitched Asian woman singing in Chinese or Japanese or something. maybe heard one Italian song the whole 2-3hrs we were there. We actually hurried to finish our wine to get out due to the music :( Definitely expect / prefer classy, old fashioned Italian music to match the beautiful atmosphere, good food and warm welcoming staff.
The owner is a pleasure to deal with. Had my daughters "going away to college" dinner there last August and my other daughters "sweet 16 dinner" last night. Wonderful food and service. We love Sonny G's.

Our service was friendly, the food was excellent. I love Reuben sandwiches and they usually are a little soggy. My sandwich was crisp, not soggy, and there was not a bit of fat on the cornbeef. Everyone in the party enjoyed their sandwiches.
Had to ask for bread. Wait staff did not make u feel welcome. Never came over to see how your meal was or if you needed anything. Was disappointed

Food was excellent. Shared the eggplant rololtini appetizer, and the burrata salad. Salad was much larger portion than expected. Shrimp parm was very good, pasta cooked well, tasty sauce and plenty of it. Shrimp firm. Fruta de mar, fresh, ample portion. Servers friendly, attentive. Sonny the owner stopped by to say hello. Observed him checking in with all other tables of guests. Great rapport. A must to visit. Great for families or children also.

From the polite hostess, which also took our drink order to out server Jose, which was very professional and always smiling. The food was excellent. Their red sauce is my new favorite!
The service was good. I have ordered their St. Louis style ribs many, many times and really enjoy them. This visit, my dining companion and my ribs were of a very poor quality. I always bring my left overs home, but these ribs were so bad I never ate them and ended up tossing them out-- which is highly unusual for me... I hope this was a one-time incident. Will give the ribs another try at another time.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The owner always comes to our table to talk to us even if its just 2 of us. The selection is quite good and varied and the prices are reasonable.

The server was horrific. She never came over to fill our water glasses so we had to get up and get the pitcher ourselves. This was extremely poor service especially since we were the only table in the restaurant. The server was busy on her cell phone instead of taking care of her customers. One meal was very poor taste and the server obviously busy on her phone didn't know how to handle it so she ignored us for awhile and finally came over and allowed us to order a different meal. The chef handled our table after that. When the server finally brought over our bill, she failed to take off the $25 certificate and then she failed to remove the first meal. The server was not friendly, personable or caring; no customer service mentality whatsoever and she obviously does not belong in a customer service role and is hurting business for this restaurant. With the exception of the first meal ordered, the food was good.

Went for Lunch for my Fathers Birthday the staff made it special and he got his favorite meal. Free pie ice cream and a candle for the birthday boy. It was a great meal.

Everyone is friendly, the food is great and the atmosphere is lively.
We were there Xmas Eve at 5:30pm with 2 young grandchildren and the staff was wonderful with them. Everyone went out of their way to make it a special night.
The service and food are both excellent. If you like thin crust pizza this is the place for you. On top of that everyone who works there is very nice.

I have eaten here numerous times...pizza always good. I would have been embarrassed to serve the eggplant rollitini appetizer. It looked like it had already been served to another customer and we received what was left. There was 4 forkfuls on plate. The portion of lasagna would have amounted to 4 Weight Watchers points.

We took our 20 month old twins out for the first time and this place was perfect. It is a large space that easily accommodated all the noise of families while still being able to easily hold conversations with the adults. Great family restaurant.

We had been there before but the other 8 people in our party this was their first time. As always the food was excellent! The shrimp scampi appetizer over a bed of arugula was to die for. Chicken rollatini was excellent as was the veal! Their pizza is one of my favorites. Just because a place has the word pizza in it doesn't mean it isn't a good restaurant!

As always, the food was GREAT, as was the service. The only issue I had was that the music was a bit too loud. I don't mind music; but, it was too loud - couldn't hear myself talk.

Nice menu with with excellent variety of dishes. The specials menu provided additional dishes. All items priced right; very reasonable. The entrees selected were well prepared and served in a timely fashion. Service was also excellent; staff was courteous, knowledgeable; and attentive. Management made it a point to make the rounds to insure satisfaction and inquire about the dining experience. We will return and recommend this restaurant to others.

My husband and I had an early Valentine's Day dinner. The food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent. Sometimes when using a coupon, they treat you "differently", but not here.
The food was good but very small portion size. We honestly think they gave us less food because we had the resturants.com certificate. We were there before and got twice the amount of food. We both ordered the same main dish received 4 oz chicken about 3oz of pasta . Great if you are on a diet but I would not pay even the recude price for the limited amount of food. However the resturant is clean, pleasent staff, and food was good. My husband is 6ft tall skinny he left hungry came home to eat a more. I would think they should want to show us how great the resturant could be when you are sampling it with a certificate. We are not likely to go back any time soon.
The service was good. The food was excellent- we each got quattro formaggio pizza, one person got a salad and the other got a pasta entree. The atmosphere was cozy and the restaurant was clean. Prices were fair.

The food was excellent. the service was wonderful, from Matty who sat us, to Yvonne who was our waitress to the others who were serving and cleaning off the table. We really enjoyed our dining experience tonight and definitely plan on returning.

We are real "foodies" and quite critical.I was told that on the weekend the service and food were sub par. We went on a weeknight and had the special salmon over rissoto. It was OUTSTANDING and we were shocked! Since we eat out nightly it will certainly be on our "regular" list forSun.-Thurs. dining.

The restaurant was very empty for a Thursday night. While we were greeted by 3 people at the door, it took sometime to get a server to attend to us at the table. The restaurant needs some help with ambiance, maybe some plants, better lighting, charm. It feels very sterile and uninviting. The pizza was ok, although the cheese was in big slices and not very melted so when you take a bite it completely separated from the crust. My son didn't like that. We also had the house salad which was very good. I think there is potential, just needs some tlc - flowers, plants, lighting, music, not sure. Maybe less tables so it doesn't look so empty. I wish them well. I'll try again another time - maybe it was just an off night.
