The menu has evolved over the last few years. Some of our favorites are missing. Always good service but price points are going where its more special dining than cadual. We miss the old Sullivan's but understand things change. Happy to have restaurant.com.

I've been going to this restaurant for the last 15 years. Yesterday service was bad and the food wasn't as good as it used to be. Even the cake portion was less than half from what they used to serve in the past.
Sullivans is the place for upscale dining in Anderson. Second to none.

So many choices for lunch, and at reasonable prices. Had only been for dinner before. The friend I took with me was very impressed with the surroundings and the staff, as well as the food.
The waiter gave good descriptions of the specials, answered questions, offered movie advice, checked on us, but was not obtrusive. Great anniversary dinner.

Fried green tomatoes, wine, and complimentary bread were excellent. Our dining experiences at Sullivan's are so hit and miss ... and we get frustrated spending $60/ person on average for a lousy meal.

Excellent menu with quality selections. They always have good specials and really like the fresh seafood selections, pasta and steaks. They also have a good selection of appetizers, beverages and desserts are the BEST. They are homemade!

I absolutely love this place! This is our 2nd visit. Our 1st visit was for our Anniversary. This visit we had our kids. They shared a meal, which was plenty for them! The restaurant has a sharing fee (totally worth it); they each received a salad and their own sides. Always a great dining experience!

we did not receive the usual customer service that we have had in the past. Our waiter failed to bring us out bread, even after our entrée arrived. we asked about the bread and he apologized and said it had been in the oven. we again waited, while eating our meal, and had to ask again. we finally received it towards the end of our meal. he brought out a bowl with oil and vinegar inside it which caused the bread to become soggy if dipping in the bowl, as opposed to their usual way of serving on a serving plate. When requesting my leftovers to be boxed, I asked if we could also take the bread. he took the bread to the back and we never saw it again. I did not like the dressing that I was served, however after waiting for the waiter to come back to the table to change it, I ended up finishing the salad the way it was. His name was Sam and I would not want him to serve us the next time we decide to visit the restaurant.
It was our Anniversary and they had a nice private table ready for us when we arrived for our reservations. Everyone was very friendly and the food was amazing!!!!

Sullivans is always great. The servers are very knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. They have a wonderful menu from meat, chicken, fish or pasta, so there is something for everyone. When we want something special but still affordable this is our go to place.

Server was very congenial & with a nice smile & great attitude, just not very professional. Ate at Larkins in Greenville, SC last night. Total bill for 4 was $263.00, which also included a $25.00 gift card deduction. Impressive, extraordinary service, there. Also disappointing that NO white chocolate raspberry cheesecake available, for my last 2 visits.

We had a very nice dinner at Sullivan's on the Monday night of the Total Solar Eclipse. Management assumed they would be busy, and they were. Even with the crowd it was a lovely evening and we did not feel rushed.

We did the Easter Sunday Brunch. For was fantastic. Great value, Great service. Lines at buffet were a little long and slow moving, but to be expected for a holiday.

Our waiter (we forgot his name yet want to say Sam), was excellent. He was timely, knew the menu, waited appropriately for ordering each course, knows how to not reach into even at a booth, took dirty dishes when finished, boxed all, etc., etc.

Sullivan's offers once if the most consistently delicious menus in the upstate. Every dish includes a variety of flavors and textures that don't require a "foodie" attitude to enjoy.
The server was terrific... not sure of her name. She is to be commended.. cheerful, hustled, pleasant, and competent. We visit from Ohio every year.
The atmosphere is wonderful. The owner and his staff are Always kind, friendly and extremely helpful. And the food never dissapoints. We go as often as we can and bring guests whenever possibly.

The food was wonderful honestly the only complaint is the coconut cake was EXTREMELY DRY. Other then that everything was delicious.Our server Travis was extremely kind however he dropped the ball on service. We ordered a round of Martinis after ten minutes of waiting he apologizedthat they had not made it to the table yet and asked if he could take our order. We put in 3 appetizers waited another 15 minutes still no drinks. When our appetizer came out our drinks finally did as well.We had to request fresh ground pepper.We asked for water refills and extra dressing none of these things were ever accomplished by Travis. The sad thing is it wasn't even busy and we really can not stress how terrible service was. I asked for an espresso martini for my desert and he asked if I wanted a double thought that was odd but i said ok so then he brings me out a double espresso. .. not what I asked for. Then when checks were dropped that double espresso was still on the check. We looked to speak with a Manager yet did not find one. .. I apologizedto my friend several times for the service, I'm glad the food kinda made up 4 it

We have been to this restaurant many times, the last 2 times were very disappointing for us. I believe one time the server was just new but the second time the server named Chris( name tag said manager?!) was very short with us and after a bad service he came to collect the plates and tried to carry too many( like 5-7 plates) and a glass and dropped most of the plates and the glass of water on my husband. My baby was so frightened by the noise we had to take her outside to calm her down. Then we received our bill and expected some sort of discount for the horrible disturbance because of the server and there were no discounts. Needless to say I will not be dinning there anymore because I would like to eat at an establishment who care about customer satisfaction. And for that man to be a manager, he should of all people care about the customer.

I used to visit more often for lunch but got discouraged when you were out of the luncheon specials even between 11:30 and noon. We had the same experience this day in that everyone wanted your crabcake special and you were already out of it. Our reservation was for noon! If you won't make an adequate amount to get through 12:30 at lunch then you shouldn't offer it!
Filet was ordered medium (pink interior and warm) and came out rare ( Almost raw)

First of all, it's been so long since we ate there, we've both forgotten about how much it cost, and neither of us can remember much about the meal. Remember having a problem, but the manager on duty took care of it.

The daily lunch special was very good -- grilled salmon on a bed of spinach and artichokes.
We eat out often. So we have plenty of experience to compare the food, the prices and the service with. Out experience with all three was the best I can remember in recent times. The food choices were varied. The selections were creative and different. The portions were good. A bit bigger than most high-end restaurants. Dinner included a delicious fresh salad with nice contents. The salad dressings were different and delicious. The main course was served hot and was a nice size and delicious. The desserts were made in the restaurant and also delicious. Our server, Barrett, was exceptional. He was prompt, regularly attentive and he described all dishes accurately. We tipped him over 20% because he made our evening exceptional in every sense. I highly recommend Sullivan's Metropolitan Grill and I do so without reservation.

There aren't too many fine dining options this side of Greenville, and Sullivans walks the ideal line between being delicious food (which it is) and being too pricey or too formal (which it isn't).

Excellent food. The filets were so tender and seasoned perfectly. Best filets we have had in many years. Excellent service. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be going back. Well worth driving 50 miles to get there.

Our server was patient, pleasant and professional throughout or extended stay. Lunch was reasonably priced and very well prepared. I used to come here a lot for special occasions. It's time to revive that tradition.

Even after using our $25 certificate, our bill for 2 was $35. We weren't expecting it to be that much at all. The food was excellent, but the service wasn't the quickest. Our glasses sat empty more than they were full.
