Prices are high for small portions. We ordered take out with a burrito and combination plate. Burrito was very small and not worth $13-14 dollars the combination plate was so so. Not going back

We love this restaurant. We moved further away from them but make the drive to eat there. Always nice servers and meal served as ordered. We've been going there for over 25 years. That includes there old location.

We weren’t told about the Sunday brunch, and had already ordered off the menu.
I got a trio with shrimp, charcoal beef and chicken. The garlic mushroom shrimp and the beef were enough to make it our new favorite, and the chicken was great too. Great dinner.

We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and treated wonderfully throughout the entire dining experience. Excellent dinner and was even provided a nice little sweet with the check. One of our favorite spots in the area!
Our waiter was kind and patient as I was figuring out how to use Restaurant.com and a gift certificate for the first time. The food was better than I remembered, and I remembered it was super tasty.

The margaritas were not as good as our local/regular mexican restaurant
Tortilla soup was good but could have used more seasoning. The beef taco had a strong Smokey/burnt flavor that I did not enjoy. I will go back again as I don’t want to judge restaurant on one meal.
The people there are excellent and super friendly.
The owner is always very pleasant and comes over to say hi. The wait staff is also very pleasant.

I always love going here for birthdays or when we'r have friends in town.. service is awesome!! But this time the food was not the same.. did you change cooks? Even the beans were so dry and bland..I always get the enchiladas and it just wasn't the same.

We have been eating in this restaurant for years and I did notice a little more bad service this time. It was not busy so there was no reason for the bad service. I asked many times for a refill on the chips and we has a large party and they only brought a small basket of chips.

Tapatio has good customer service. The waitresses aren't always fluent in english and easy to understand, but they definitely care about the customer.
It is a family owned restaurant with friendly servers and great food. Service is quick and prompt. Food comes out quickly and piping hot. My favorite is either the pork carnitas or the super burrito (chicken).

Food is always good, service not so much. We went for brunch and the gentleman making the food is always wonderful and friendly. However we always seem to get Nora as our server and every time she disappears and we sit there for a very long time until we finally have to ask someone to find her for us. Yesterday we were there for 45 minutes after we finished eating trying to pay but she was completely ignoring our table. ( and there was only one other table at that time )

Some of the best service I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant. Only took about 10 minutes to get food. Food was good but not great, I was hoping to find great but seem to be having trouble doing that since moving back to Oregon. I do live about 45 minutes from this place but would return.

Food was great. Big portions and their rice was the best I've ever tried. We enjoyed the bean dip. So many places just give you salsa. Even our 4 year old granddaughter ate every bite of her meal.

We have recently been introduced to Tapatios and love it. The food is, good, plentiful, hot and authentic tasting. Pleased that we found out it was close to out neighborhood. We have also been to the Tapatios in Rainier Oregon this past July...what a surprise to find it there!
Our overall experience was not bad. The atmosphere and service of the restaurant was quite good, and not at all what we expected from how the building looks on the outside. The taste and quality of the food was okay, but nothing special or worthy of repeat visits. We were a bit underwhelmed, especially considering the final cost of our ticket. We were a bit surprised about prices, as aside from a small "combo meal" section around $9-$13 a plate, and the just slightly overpriced a'la cart section, most plates were from $14-$24. Even the appetizers lacked a selection lower than $7. They also charged quite a bit extra for any additional sauces, chips, tortillas, refills, etc; which the servers do not inform you of, but is listed in the menu. We felt that Prices overall were high for standard Mexicano Norteno cuisine, and way too high for the mediocre quality of the food in general. We have one more coupon to use next month, and will try a different dish as well as desert. Short of finding a diamond in the rough with a specialty dish next time, I doubt we will go back again.

Fresh authentic Mexican food made to order. The variety on the menu will please most everyone. The bacon wrapped shrimp got top marks from our dinner.
