Fried calamari was not good. Actual calamari in rings was very chewy, the parts with whole body were good but batter/coating had no flavor and wasn’t crispy enough. Sauce was good as were the hot peppers. We also ordered a clam pizza and it was too dry, really no clam taste, bacon was good but overall not enough flavor. Clams are juicy and between that and olive oil it should be moist.
Our server was excellent, allowed us to change tables, was extremely accommodating and helpful! Thank you!

My husband had a shrimp special that was delicious. I had a great burger. Disappointed no happy hr. For drinks.
With special needs, this restaurants accommodates whatever you diet needs are. They are conscientious and food is fresh.
My son told me to make sure I rate them 5 stars. He had the coconut shrimp and new England clam chowder. I had the lobster roll and agree that it was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic as well.

The music is too loud for the size of the restaurant. It affects the dinning experience. Also, my husband ordered the burger with guacamole and there was about a tablespoon of guac on the entire burger. He thought they didn't put any on.
The clams were Tony the Tiger. The cod was wonderful.

It was January, and very cold in the place. Had a bad smell through out. Had fish tacos, weren't the best. Husband had calamari which was good. We won't be back though.

The zippy shrimp which is normally flawless was over salted. The bread was "older"...the waitress wasn't trained on the redemption of certificates or even what they were.

Very crowded, which attests to it's food and popularity. If you prefer quiet, you won't be happy here. We prefer the outdoor seating and would appreciate more moderately priced entrees. Happy with the food.

The service was great although we did have to ask for utensils and our mussels appetizer did not come with a serving spoon. We were glad to be seated outside because it is difficult to have a conversation when they have music playing inside.

The calamari appetizer and clam chowder were very enjoyable. The clam pizza was short on clams and heavy on salt. The crust (thin crust style), I suspect came in the back door frozen before it hit he oven. The staff was very efficient and cordial. We will return because we want to support local businesses and the restaurant does many things well.

I would have been happier if my burgers were cooked to temp. Both burgers were ordered medium and both were well done. Server offered dessert on him but it wasn't his fault. He is always a delight!!

I had the potsticker appetizer, they were fresh and delicious. I had the calzone, it was Cooked perfect and very tasty. I have had the buffalo tenders before and they are great. Great food!
It was St. Patrick's Day, they offered many specials and our waitress, Deborah was attentive to every table. Those that ate in the bar/lounge were pleased as well. The bartender Marianne kept up with the crowd and knew how to make mixed drinks that were excellent.

It wasn't a very good experience. The waiter forgot about us so we went without drinks during our meal. The restaurant was nearly empty so I don't know why we were ignored. The bus boy was terrible - he mumbled incoherently to us after letting out a huge yawn. We couldn't believe how terrible he behaved. I don't know if I want to return to this restaurant. The quality of the service and the food has gone down considerably.

The calamari is the best and so are the burgers ++++++++++ The beef is exc. quality an they cook it just the way I like it. Sounds very basic, by I rarely order a burger out out, but there" are wonderful. I don't want to brag to much because then we won't be able to get in!!!!!!!!!!!
The shrimp quesadilla, Clams Casino pizza, and Caesar Chicken wrap were all very good. However, the restaurant was out of chicken fingers and Beringer White Zin, which shouldn't have happened.

The Swordfish special was very good.Took home a Monday half price pizza, hoping the quality didn't have too match the price. Needs improvement.
Waitress Deb was great, only negatives dinner came too quick, as we were still eating our appetizer. Wish they wouldn't serve slaw in paper cups when they use white tablecloths. Makes it kind of cheap.

ordered wine and it came with someone else's lipstick on the glass UCK! Bartender very cocky have been their a few times and he has always been like this would prefer a friendly bartender rather than cocky . Waiter we had was very nice but not really much of a waiter.

very slow--and then once we got home with our take out they called me to say they gave us the wrong order and to hurry up and return with it so they could give it to the people who were waiting for it. I let them know that they shouldn't give it our once it has been home with me and they asked if I had opened it or touched it!! We just kept it and did not return for our food. Who knows where that food had been!!

Large size app, calamari, was plenty for my meal with a salad that was generous.
I identified that I had a coupon upon entering to hostess--although there were plenty of tables, she only offered me a hightop in the corner---stools had no backs. Waitress took coupon ( practically grabbed it out of my purse), then forgot to give me the $10.00 credit--I almost felt that they were hoping I forgot or didn't want to wait. It still cost over $30.00 for one person for a very simple meal. I might try a takeout pizza but would not dine in again. Fish tacos were good---but, not outstanding.
We arriveds for lunch at 2:20 and there were no other patrons. It was quiet, but the music overhead was a bit a loud for having no patrons. The waitress was pleasant, and mostly attentive. We had burgers that were big and juicy, very tasty and the fries were nice and crispy. The grilled chicken sandwich was large and not overdone (Yeah) and half was taken home it was so big!

We attend often and is normally good to excellent. However this day the server gave way to many unbelievable reason as to why to apps never arrived before our meal. Which also took 40 minutes to arrive at our table. I will keep in mind it was Monday May 26th and a holiday but wasn't busy at all. We just wanted a simple lunch which was a lobster roll, burger and a pizza. Service was not at all expectable and our bar drinks ( Mary Ann wasn't there) weren't what we order but we waited long enough to get the first drink so it was a team decision not to send the drinks back. We will continue to go on a regular but you should make sure you're day/ lunch staff are just as good as the evening servers.

This venue is a hidden gem! The staff are all soooooo pleasant and the service is great. I love calimari and you will NOT find better in R.I., a must try. On top of all of these pluses there is entertainment to also wooooo you. GO, GO, Go.

There was a seafood casserole special that was outstanding: lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Don't remember the exact price, but probably around $25, which is a steal for the contents. We have been there before, and as always, the service was great. As a bonus, there was an outstanding duo for entertainment.
This restaurant is great and often there is entertainment. Since calimari is the 'state dish" you MUST indulege; it is the best in the state GO!GO! GO! The owner is well engaged and the waitstaff is the best. I am on my way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food was great. I had a couple of special requests due to diet, and they were happily accommodated. The salmon is highly recommended, as is scallop dish. We dine there frequently as the quality is consistently good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.

The Breachway Grill always has good food. The owner takes the time to stop by and make sure all is ok. It is one of our favorite spots year round. And…you can't beat the chowder.

For the type of restaurant for this area pricing for entrees is high. Burgers $11 is a little high also. This place needs locals to survive the winter. Greek salad with chicken $14, Calamari $12
Menu was varied and service was excellent.
The staff is always cordial and accommodating. Whether sitting at the bar,in the dining room or on the patio, meals have ample portions, are cooked to order and the daily specials are great. I love to go in the early evening when they have live music, suited to a beach-town dinner crowd; lively, but not loud. The bar area has flatscreen tvs available for those inclined to watch that game. So happy that I live so close as to be able to enjoy many meals here with friends and family.

We were the only party there to start with because it was 4:45pm and the service was still slow--we asked for bread while we waited and she told us that we didn't need any because our meal would be out soon. We still wanted the bread to go with our meal even if it was coming out soon--which it didn't come right out. Then, my son ordered pasta and I asked if he could have a roll or piece of bread to go with it (it was JUST a bowl of pasta) and she went in the kitchen to check and came out and said they have no bread. In my opinion, a place that is trying to be so high-end should have at least given him a hamburger bun to please us.

Calimari was fresh and delicious. Linguini in clam sauce was also excellent...but there was a garnish of very strong balsamic vinegar around the edge of the linguini plate which overrode all the other aromas. Dish would have been much better without the balsamic. Other people at the table also could smell it while eating their meals.

Last night was the best for Team Trivia.......about 25 people took part. The place was jumpin'!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to be part of its success.
We had the prime rib and I think it might have been left over from the prior day as it was the special on Friday as well. They had no rare or end cuts. The baked potato was barley warm. Veggies were OK. We will not return

It's heartwarming to see a relatively new restaurant, located on a site that has had many business failures, continue an upward climb to success. In the off-season, Team Trivia is on Tuesday. Last night had the most # of team to date, and the non-playing patrons enjoyed themselves, too.
The food was great! The Moon burger had the best combination of flavors and the calzone was huge. It's wonderful to find a restaurant that has regular food that kids will like because we don't want our kids ordering off the "kids" menu (if they want mac and cheese we may as well stay home for dinner!) My husband and daughter both said their meals were delicious and the desserts, which we don't normally order, were fresh and soooo good, especially the awesome chocolate cake. I may just come in for cake and a drink sometime!

We had a very nice waitress who greeted us as soon as we walked in. I had an excellent spinach salad and asked for grilled scallops on it (which was not on the menu but they were happy to do it for me). The scallops were big, plentiful, and cooked perfectly. My guest ordered a burger that came out of the kitchen piled a foot high with home made super thin onion rings. It was fabulous. To our surprise, a couple of young men were playing live acoustic music in the next room. It was a great mite out. We'll definately go back!

This was a busy night but the service was very slow and they could have sat more people if they had enough chairs. Also bread or crackers served while we waited would have been a nice touch. The food was good.
Wait staff very helpful in reseating us outside due to dining room being too cool for our guest. Also staff very helpful in ensuring that I could find something on the menu that was gluten free. We will definitely stop in again.

The food is excellent! Fresh, and a beautiful presentation! Some prices of entrees seem a little high for the casual atmosphere of the restaurant, but the old delivers! The staff needs work! Very nice, but typical summer help...I wanted to get up and give her a hand! The manager needs to train them better, or hire experienced people. We will go again...everything we ordered was that good-

My Friend has a house in Charlestown. The restaurant is very close to his house and he goes there all the time. My wife had the clam chowder, she said it was excellent. I had the Margarita Pizza, the problem was it had sauce on it; I have had Margarita pizzas, and always had sliced tomatoes on it. I think the place has great opportunity, employing high School kids and so on. Plus was owner went around to tables, I should have said something about the pizza. It was ok, I ate it, just offering an opinion.

I had a hamburger which was very juicy and very good. My husband had a stromboli that was really tasty. Kids had chicken fingers and speghetti with butter and cheese. The adult food was good quality. Menu not a lot to choose from, but what we had was good.
Expensive for what we had. Swordfish special was not available so it was offered with Salmon. I didn't expect to be paying the swordfish price for salmon.
poor service--around food presentation--staff pleasant--room a bit loud--allowed ample time to look at menu---ordered app--came out without serving spoon--by time spoon arrived--calamari had cooled--in less than 5" later--main courses arrived; one was not warm enough--all food had good taste but hard to enjoy because of poor presentation

We are locals and go to the grill more frequently during the summer. We like the music and busy atmosphere. The food is good and some of the specials are excellent.
it was nice to see they have a full bar now and eating outside was nice, however, they need to make the inside dining more cozy

There was a great two-man band playing in the dining room. I would move them to that corner spot upfront that looks like a little living room. Most of the time people expect that the entertainment will be in the bar area, and that will also make room for more seating in the dining room.
Currently the BG serves dinner 5 nights/week. I'm often there 4. It's excellent! I speak highly of it to everyone and hope for its continued success. In the past 7 years there have been 4 businesses at this location. Opening last May, weathering the tourist off-season here in town, packing 'em in on the weekend says it all.
We found the Breachway Grill when looking for an alternate dining place after several unpleasant experiences at the "Cove". We find the Breachway Grill is such a pleasure and just minutes away. The chowder is amazing and the service is with a smile. Can't beat it!!!

The food was excellent and the bonus was a two piece easy listening musical group.
The dining room was very basic. A 2 piece band was a very nice touch. The meal, however, was exceptional, as was the service. We will be back again.
